Discover Strength. Balance. Purpose. — Right Here in Edmonton

Join a community where ages 6 to 60+ train together, build resilience and embrace the art of harmony — Aikido.

At Bushido Budo of Edmonton, we believe martial arts are more than technique — they are a path to greater confidence, physical well-being and meaningful connection. Under the guidance of seasoned instructor Huu Tran Sensei — with over 45 years of experience — we train you not just to react but to respond; to move with purpose, to stand strong without becoming stiff, and to build calm in motion.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to fitness, a parent looking for the right activity for their child, or a professional seeking focus and stress-relief — our dojo offers a welcoming environment where you can grow at your own pace. Unlike typical martial arts, our focus is not on competition, but on mastering yourself: redirecting force, staying centered, and shifting from reaction to intention.

Located right in Edmonton, our community is open, inclusive and committed to individual care. Each student receives guided attention from instructors and senior students to ensure technique, posture and safety are always front and centre.
